GMP CERTIFICATE AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS – PART 1

Welcome to our blog, where we strive to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information about Shilajit and its benefits. As many of you know, I have been discussing and posting about quite frequently on our social media platforms. I understand that many of you may have some questions about what exactly GMP is and why it’s so important for our company and the industry as a whole.

Having this certification means that our customers can trust that our products have been manufactured, prepared, and packaged to the highest standards of quality and safety. We understand that not all of our customers may be familiar with GMP, and we believe it’s important to educate them on the importance of this certification and the lengths we go to in order to ensure the quality of our products. As one of the only Shilajit sellers to have this certification, we believe it sets us apart and demonstrates our commitment to quality.

That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate this blog post to educating our readers about GMP and how it ensures the quality and safety of the products we prepare and package. So, sit back, relax, and get ready to learn more about GMP and how it plays a crucial role in the health supplement industry.

IT ALL STARTS AT QUALITY MANAGEMENT

When it comes to producing and distributing health-related products like Shilajit, it’s important to follow certain guidelines and regulations. These guidelines are known as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and their main goal is to ensure that the products are safe for consumption and meet the necessary standards for efficacy and purity. To achieve this, companies must have a system in place for managing the quality of their products, which includes all aspects of manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution. This system is called Quality Management.

We feel like we’re going to say the word ”quality”, but in reality, this is what it’s all about. Reaching  certain standards and then maintaining them is anything but easy. So we have to abide by a certain set of rules that allow us to have an actual organized overlook around the whole manufacturing process. This means that the company makes sure to build quality into the product from the very beginning of its development. And it starts with choosing the right ingredients, a well-designed manufacturing process, as well as selecting the appropriate packaging materials. Every stage of the product’s development is thoroughly evaluated to make sure it will meet all specifications. Even though the complete evaluation has many steps, quality management makes sure all aspect of shilajit quality come together in an understandable and logical way.

…AND CONTINUES WITH QUALITY ASSURANCE

This is important because it means you can trust that the product will be safe to use and will have the same beneficial effects each time you purchase it. Quality Assurance (QA) is all about making sure that the Shilajit product you buy is always of the same high quality and meets certain standards as no exceptions are allowed.

It involves a range of procedures, processes, and systems that are constantly reviewed to ensure their effectiveness. This includes monitoring the quality of raw materials and packaging materials from suppliers, writing procedures in clear and easy to understand language, keeping records of the manufacturing process, being able to trace the history of a product, having a plan to recall products if necessary, and making sure to follow any new laws or regulations that may come into effect.  This includes making sure the right ingredients are used in the right amounts, that the product is processed correctly, and that it is pure. We also have to make sure the product is packaged properly and labeled correctly.

Companies also have to keep records of how the Shilajit was made and keep track of where it came from, so they can trace any issues if they arise. They also have to have a plan in place to recall the product if there is a problem.

QA also involves constantly reviewing and checking the processes to make sure they are still effective. This includes making sure that the company follows any new laws or regulations that may come into effect.

Overall, Quality Assurance is a way for companies to make sure that the Shilajit products they produce are of the highest quality and that the level of quality is consisten for each batch of Shilajit. And it’s how we ensure that each time you buy the product, it will be the same high-quality product you expect and deserve.

ABOVE ALL, THERE IS QUALITY CONTROL

Quality Control is the process of checking if products like Shilajit meet certain standards before they are sold to customers. This is done through a monitoring system that checks the products and takes corrective action if needed. This process is important to make sure the product is safe and effective.

For Quality Control to be effective, there needs to be a clear process in place for checking and approving products, and making sure only authorized personnel are handling and checking the products. Additionally, reference samples of the products should be kept for future reference if any need arises. If you check your Shilajit jar, you can find the batch number that can trace it back to its original batch, which has its own set of laboratory tests, which can be acces anytime from your side. This is public info we are obliged (and are happy to) share with any customer.

In conclusion, maintaining the quality of Shilajit is not always easy, but it is a necessary effort in order to ensure that our customers receive a safe and effective product. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are a set of guidelines and regulations that help us to achieve this goal, by ensuring that the Shilajit is manufactured, prepared, and packaged to the highest standards of quality and safety.

It’s important to remember that Quality Assurance and Quality Control are integral parts of GMP and play a crucial role. It may be hard work, but at the end of the day, our customers’ happiness and well-being is what matters most. We hope that this blog provided some insights into the importance of GMP and Quality Management in the production and distribution of Shilajit. And as the old saying goes, “A healthy mind in a healthy body.”
